If voters have seen enough on broadcast, cable, and satellite, voters should see as much or more as opponents on digital, particularly YouTube, Hulu, and programmatic OTT targeting voters age 35+. Voters with any Democratic Presidential Primary vote history need to be encouraged to vote and made aware on text and robocall multiple times during GOTV through Election Day that Dan Helmer is endorsed by the Washington Post, Deshundra Jefferson, wrote the bill to ban Jan 6th insurrectionists, and passed landmark gun safety legislation. All creative, including existing creative, should prominently include that Dan Helmer is endorsed by the Washington Post¹, which praised him for his “guts, independence, and intelligence.”² Delegate Dan Helmer is an Iraq and Afghanistan veteran who defended our democracy overseas. He has been named one of the most effective lawmakers in Richmond.³ Helmer wrote a law to ban January 6th insurrectionists from serving in office⁴ and is fighting to pass a constitutional amendment to protect abortion rights.^5,6 In Congress, he will keep fighting to stop MAGA attacks on our democracy and abortion rights.

Organizations specializing in video creative should ensure that VOTERS IN VA-10 OVER AGE 35 (see below for correct list of in-district zip codes) on YouTube and Hulu and voters on programmatic streaming with 2/4 primary vote history across the 2020 Democratic Presidential Primary, 2021 Democratic Gubernatorial Primary, 2022 Democratic Primary, and 2023 Democratic Primary or only voted in the 2023 Democratic Primary need to see the above message.

3. It is critical that all mail prominently and boldly shows that Dan Helmer was endorsed by the Washington Post. Organizations with the capacity to do mail should ensure that on 5/23 and twice the following weeks that voters across VA-10 with 2/4 primary vote history across the 2020 Democratic Presidential Primary, 2021 Democratic Gubernatorial Primary, 2022 Democratic Primary, and 2023 Democratic Primary or only voted in the 2023 Democratic Primary read the above message and especially that Helmer:

a. Is endorsed by the Washington Post¹, which said that he displayed “guts, independence, and intelligence”² as a lawmaker.
b. Introduced a law to ban the MAGA insurrectionists who stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6th from serving in public office⁴
c. Led the Democratic campaign to win control of the State House⁶ and is fighting to pass a constitutional amendment to protect abortion rights in Virginia.^5,6
d. Championed laws to expand access to birth control⁷, improve insurance coverage for IVF⁸, and fund Planned Parenthood⁹
e. Takes on the gun lobby to ban assault weapons in Virginia¹⁰ and passed a law to keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers¹¹

In Congress, he will keep fighting to stop MAGA Republican attacks on our democracy and will always defend a woman’s right to choose.
